BIOCIDAL CLEANING CONCENTRATE FOR STERILISING MACHINE TOOL RECIRCULATORY SYSTEMS

SYSTEM CLEANER is a specially formulated product for purging and sterilising recirculatory systems in metalworking machines. It is entirely compatible with the products in our range of synthetic and semi-synthetic cutting fluids.

  • Cleaning the system from time to time maximises the life of fresh coolant introduced subsequently, by eliminating bacterial and fungal contamination at the outset.
  • SYSTEM CLEANER incorporates effective cleaning agents and biocides to purge the systems as efficiently and speedily as possible, with minimum downtime. Inhibitors protect against corrosion while cleansing takes place.
  • SYSTEM CLEANER is added directly into the existing solution of coolant at the rate of 2% to 5% depending on the degree of contamination, and is allowed to circulate.

Such is the compatibility between coolant and SYSTEM CLEANER that the performance of the lubricant will, under normal circumstances, be unaffected, and work can continue for 24-48 hours. At the end of that period the system is drained and then flushed with a 1% solution of SYSTEM CLEANER, then drained again and refilled with fresh coolant.

Please note that because of the high levels of detergent in this product, care should be taken in low-foam grinding operations, or when changing from neat oil-based products. In those cases the system should be first drained, then purged with a 1% to 2% solution of SYSTEM CLEANER before being drained again and refilled with fresh coolant.
